Cover for

's Mohatu's reign comic cover art contest.

I'm proud of the background~
Lookit that beautiful lineartless scenery.
It's so simple yet amazing.

Oh Flash, why hadn't you come into my life sooner?

Anyways, I picked this scene because in a way, this is where it all began. I mean the majority of the comic is focused around Uru and Ahadi, and since it's Mohatu's reign, I felt it was only fitting for these three at least to appear.
And this is where the three of them met.
(Though it's not exactly the same as in the chapter of course, I feel like that would defeat the purpose of new art for the cover.)
It can't be Lion King without Pride Rock, and I tried to make a pretty cool looking logo (which I believe I succeeded) while referencing all TLK's logos.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
-also, no shading on the lion's because it looked awkward for some reason. Like, really awkward. It didn't even look good from farther away, so like, three layers of shading scrapped. What a waste of time.-

in pixels that is 1650x2500

your's is 792x1224

Well according to Photoshop, 11x17 inches IS 792x1224.
[link] See? When I typed in 11x17 inches for the dimensions, it gave me this size.
SAI is giving me the same thing [link]

It says that 1650x2500p is equal to 22.9x34.7 inches.

I fixed it though. Better?
